Public School Academies are publicly funded, independently managed schools that have the flexibility to innovate the educational setting but are held accountable for student achievement.

There are 97 Public School Academies (PSAs) in Wayne County serving 62,136 students. Wayne RESA is proud to have been the first ISD in Michigan to authorize, or charter, a public school academy.
