Lego Education Kits

The Wayne County Math and Science Center owns several classroom sets of Lego Kits. They are for the use of Wayne County teachers. In order to borrow the Lego Kits, you must be trained. Early Elementary Students: Lego Simple Machines

Stimulate your K-3 students in the active learning of simple machines using pulleys, levers, gears, wheels and axles using LEGOeducation Simple Machine Mini-Sets. Classroom sets can be checked our and include a 20 page teachers guide, building cards with step-by-step instructions, pictorial parts list to make cleanup and inventory simple, photographs of real-world simple machines, suggested problem solutions and assessment ideas.

Science and Technology Kits

Stimulate your students, grades 3 and up, in the active learning of simple machines using pulleys, levers, gears, wheels and axles using LEGO education Science and Technology Kit. The LEGO education Science and Technology solutions enable youngsters to behave as young scientist by providing them with tools and tasks that promote scientific inquiry.

Lego NXT Robotics

Imagine it! Build it! Teach it! Everything from simple to computer-programmable autonomous robots. These powerful tools will convert your classroom into a hands-on, minds-on robotics laboratory. Your students will use creativity, logic, and problem-solving skills to meet challenges with today's technologies all while learning necessary math, science, technology, and engineering concepts. The NXT is recommended for middle and high school classes and requires computers to program the robots.
