Project Based Learning: Explained
The resources below are for the PBL/STEM workshop participants. The documents are designed to be printed and hung in the classroom as was demonstrated in the workshop. They are Word documents that contain useful URL's and QR Codes. Additionally, participants are free to modify the documents for their specific classroom purposes.

The National Center for Case Study Teaching in Science (NCCSTS) promotes the nationwide application of active learning techniques to the teaching of science, with a particular emphasis on case studies and problem-based learning.

Webinar Wednesdays occur twice a month and are 45 minutes long. The webinars shine a spotlight on all things PBL. The presenters are members of BIE's National Faculty & Staff and special guests.

Access BIE's free webinar on engaging online programs and opportunities that allow integration of STEM and PBL at http://www.bie.org/services/webinars/stem_and_pbl . Michael Gorman, BIE National Faculty and named STEM Educator of the Year by the Indiana US Air Force Association, will highlight several brief demonstrations of software and give a tour of some amazing web sites. The results will be a PBL educational experience that will rev up student engagement, inquiry, creativity, and innovation.
