Coaching on best practices in content area evidence-based and researched-based strategies that develop teacher capacity to increase student achievement.

Instructional coaches:

  • Support teachers in utilizing data to plan and implement academic interventions
  • Support the implementation of strategies consistent with the buildings' School Improvement Plan and serve as a member of a School Improvement Team
  • Model/co-teach instructional practices and strategies
  • Engage in reflective conversation that supports teachers in the provision of effective instruction, lesson design, and the designated best teaching strategies
  • Deliver job embedded professional development
  • Support teachers in the use of technology
