Imagine learning in a way that is fun, colorful, entertaining and deeply imbedded with research based 21st century pedagogy.

Wayne RESA is excited to announce the successful purchase of Imagine Learning (IL) literacy software licenses for over 2000 English Learners (EL) and their families. This service is being provided at no additional cost to our local partners meeting the extensive needs of Wayne County’s growing immigrant population.

IL is designed to differentiate learning content to ensure students experience success while engaged with the program. Program goals include:

  • Achieve appropriate challenge level
  • Providing support through home language if needed
  • Opportunities to collaborate and be social
  • Receive immediate feedback.

WRESA EL staff are teaming up with local general education teachers to ensure  students receive computer time to support classroom instruction.

Any student receiving services as part of the WRESA Consortium Title III experience has access to the program both in school and at home for one calendar year beginning January 2017.

Student success is documented in language and vocabulary acquisition and proficiency with academic content. Initial monitoring reports show positive student achievement gains in the brief period we have had access to the program.

Please reach out to a one of your EL students enrolled in your districts K-6th programs and ask him/her to introduce you to Imagine Learning.
