MISTAR Q

MISTAR Q is the student information system that allows district clients the capability to access and manage their student population’s Master Schedule, Gradebook, Attendance, Food Services, Special Education and many other applications that relate to the management of student data.

Within the MISTAR Q umbrella of available applications, MISTAR Data and Assessment is an assessment data warehouse that allows districts to track state, national, and local assessment data over multiple years so district users can conduct data analysis in order to better understand how their students are performing and ultimately make decisions regarding instruction.

MISTAR Data and Assessment allows district users to develop item bank or manual setup assessments aligned to standards, administer those assessments, and review 23 prebuilt reports that offer a deeper view of student performance. MISTAR Data and Assessment is different from MISTAR Q, but the two programs have some inter-communication capabilities that are important to note and could have benefits for teachers.

The Push to Q Gradebook functionality allows teachers to post raw scores from administered MISTAR Data and Assessment item bank and manual setup assessments directly to saved class period assignments in their school district’s MISTAR Q Gradebook in real time.

Below are details to successfully utilizing the Push to Q Gradebook feature:
