Training
Professional development experiences focused on proposal
development, grant submission and resource location are provided on
a yearly schedule and now online.
 |
RESA Facility: Department staff periodically conduct hands-on
training to help participants develop the needed skills to
successfully develop proposals and submit them to funding sources.
This is a two-day workshop. It requires basic computer skills since
it uses the Internet as a basic tool to locate information about the
grant writing process and funding sources. If identifies for
participants the basic elements of a proposal and provides a
Microsoft Word template to guide the actual preparation of a generic
proposal. Practice in writing portions of a proposal are included.

 |
RESA's The Planner: a product of the Events Services Department,
lists all training sessions.
