Web Accessibility
Wayne RESA’s Board Policy on Web Accessibility is committed to ensuring accessibility of its website for members of the public. Wayne RESA will continue to test future releases/updates of its website and remains committed to maintaining its compliance and serving the widest possible audience. To this end, Wayne RESA will perform periodic accessibility audits of its website.
Consistent with established Wayne RESA procedures, members of the public may present a formal complaint regarding a violation of the Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504) related to the accessibility of Wayne RESA’s web presence.
For more information on Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, please see section 7003 - Website and Digital Content Accessibility from our Board of Education Bylaws and Policies or 7003-AR Website and Digital Content Accessibility from Wayne RESA’s Administrative Regulations page.
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, have difficulty accessing any content, or need information in an alternative format (such as accessible PDFs, large print, or other accommodations), we welcome your feedback and encourage you to contact Wayne RESA’s Web Accessibility Coordinator at webaccessibility@resa.net. Upon notification, Wayne RESA will provide an estimated timeframe for the requested information in an alternate format to be provided as soon as possible.
