Overview

AREN Wind Stick activity participants will make an AREN Wind Stick and then use it to record observations of Wind  Strength, for the month of March. This tool can be used to help determine whether the proverb, “March winds roar in like a lion and goes out like a lamb,” is true at their location for the current year.  Participants will also be introduced to the science of why March Winds are generally different at the beginning and end of the month.
